Yes, i have to go in a trip for a few days, don’t know how many…. so i won’t be able to post for a while, but when i get back i will post several things, i hope to get backt soon.

Here is the preview of the PV of ‘Baby Don’t Cry‘ that aired today on various news programmes. Many thanks to LNany for sharing it! In the preview, Namie is depicted walking in a park, then in the street, and wearing a black coat and blue jeans. Her hair is straight and long in the preview too. Kotoko

Today i saw Kotoko’s Re-sublimity PV, i think the song is great, im so into techno, thats why i loved the song…. the video is not as much as i expected but its ok, Kotoko’s look is average, she’s pretty but she needs to fix her theet, and the white hair, looked strange to me, but the completely musical experience was worth it, since i dont care that much for the looks.

 Then i saw CherCher, boring video, sorry but it is…. and her voice sounds soo noisy that i had to turn down the volume so it wont annoy that much, sincerely i don’t see whats so special about her, with only one song you don’t get a fan…. maybe her upcoming works will appeal a little bit more.

J-pop Idols…. true artists

Its not a secret every J-pop Diva has a dream…. be on top album after album, single after single, video after video…. and they would do anything to make their dreams come true.

The fans… they’re great, im a fan, and its cool to be one, but Fans are confusing!! wan’t an example?

some fans say: This girl is the Queen of J-pop.

other fans say: no, this girl IS the Queen of J-pop.

and other fans say: NO WAY! there’s no one sexier than this girl, so she’s the Queen of j-pop.

and so on….

The Million dollars question is, is there a real Queen of J-pop?? NO!!! people has to stop measuring their idols for their sales or their look!

the thing is…. either Namie Amuro, Ayumi Hamasaki, Koda Kumi, Utada Hikaru, etc… wants to be compared or placed somewhere just cuz’ they sale more than the other, if it were like that then it would be a new Queen of J-pop every week.

Each one on their thing: Namie was self proclamed Queen of Hip-Pop, that’s a title that belongs to her, cuz’ there’s no other who sings under the Hip-Pop genre, and theres Kumi, she is the only one who carries ero-kakkoii as a style.

What i want to say is that is gettin’ old the Queen/King of a genre thing, artists don’t belong to genres, they belong to their style, the way they are, no one sings pure unalterated pop, is more like a one of a kind pop.

Back into subject, the tactics j-pop Divas use are very smooth and almost clear, but if you look closely you’ll see that every single, album or  video is released with a technique.

Could be sexier-toget-fans, could be sweeter-toget-fans, slower, faster, more agressive or maybe softer….

All those kind of strategies are simple, if you are too sweet, you’ll find out someday that is not working anymore…. then get sexier.

If you are too agressive you’ll know you have to change before people get tired of you, so you suprise them with a cute ballad.

When it works, little by litlle you start leaving your old style to evolve into a new one, thats what is called music evolution, and thats why you cant expect the same year after year, or get angry if your idol makes a transition.

But true artist never leave their roots, they may change…. but in their music they’ll reflect that theyre still the same.

Other times is the label who makes them change, cuz’ theyre no hot anymore, and theres when tactics appear.

Thats what makes an idol, not their sales, or their videos, but the way they manage to make the label, us and themselves happy.

Koda Kumi’s Black Cherry review…

Ok, i have already listened to the new album of Kumi Koda: Black Cherry…. so im gonna write my review for the album, song by song you’ll know what i think:

Introduction: Very cute message from Koda, she talks about unity and it sounds really good…. then starts a upbeat song that even thought last very little is so good!! i wish the introduction lasted more, but i definately liked.

Get up & move!: A very Koda style song…. hip-hop music and sexy vocals but still with a pop influence, also parts with a smooth arabian (“Candy” like) feel to it, really good.

Ningyo Hime: Kumi sounds like a Rock Star here!! very Rock and her voice gives it a tough feel but still has a soft pop sound, it’s like Rock and Pop meet in one of the greatest songs from the album…..

Yume no Uta: Time to settle down with a calm song, very pretty song and a good chorus, personally i think Kumi is a dance-sound singer, and her upbeat songs are great but there’s no doubt Kumi really did well with this song.

Tsuki no Taiyou: ok, this song is very sweet…. but maybe too sweet for me, it kinda makes me wanna relax, the problem is…. that its not what i want right now, its a song to listen certain times, but definately not a catchy song.

Puppy: good start, its one of those that makes you listen the entire song fearless…. sounds very, “Pinkku Diva” thats the way i call the songs that gives you a ”Charming, full of ego, sweet girl, that cares about her hair and her make-up all day” feel, its a great song, i like the songs that sound like that.

Koi no tsubomi: Another “Pinkku Diva” song, very optimistic beat, dunno why but can’t stop seeing the “Cutie Honey” Kumi…. i think its because it really fits this song, well, general opinion: CUTE CUTE CUTE Pinkku Diva!

Won’t be long -Black cherry version-: One of the greatest covers ever!! im in love with this song….. but not with this version, you see, the last song of the Cd its Won’t be long -Red Cherry version- (i’ll talk about it later) but still i really like it, Kumi sounds great, very very good.

Juicy: ah, She’s JUICY!!! XD!!! well, its a average song, not so good as others, and the PV doesn’t help, really. For me its hard to find its rithym, it changes to much….. i really don’t get it.

Candle Light: it sounds so sad!!! no, i don’t wanna even listen to it…. though i did, but it makes me wanna cry, the melody: sad the way Kumi sings: SAD!!! its not an cool song but its pretty, its the side i haven’t listened of Kumi.  

Cherry Girl: Good song, i love it!! very cool melody, again Rocker Kumi Vs. Pop Kumi, i love that mix! the PV is good but nothing new really, you know…. the way Kumi is sexy, yes, that way that we see in almost every PV.

I’ll be there: awesome song!! i really liked it, very pretty, i just can’t stop listening, Kumi sounds great here, she sounds so sweet and charming, one of my favorites.

Unmei: gorgeous romantic feeling, good start, great instrumentation and vocals fron Kumi, a very opposite sound from Cherry Girl, i think the single Cherry Girl/Unmei was very balanced with this two songs…. awesome contrast.

With your smile: Very good song, it makes me think about “Public Affair” by Jessica Simpson it sounds a bit like it …. anyway pretty cool song.

Milk Tea:  Soft Pop, thats what i hear…. doesn’t seem to be Kumi, it sounds more like the Namie Amuro ballads, i don’t know what you think but thats my oppinion, if you’ll leave messages saying things like ” DONT COMPARE KODA TO NAMIE!!! OR NAMIE TO KODA!!” dont do it…. i like and respect both of them and they both make great music.

Twinkle -english version-: lets say i don’t looove it, but i kinda like it, no offense but Kumi’s english makes me a little confused.

Go Way!: ok, this song its not made for my Mp3, sorry Kumi, but you missed it with this one i don’t like it, i don’t, it has no good rithym and the lyrics aren’t for that music, and the start…. no, no, no.

Won’t be long -red cherry version-: MY FAVORITE!! this is the “Won’t be long” i like, it starts very calmed and it developes with a great tropical beat, and the chorus it has been stuck in my head for like 6 days non-stop!!! I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

Gackt And Namie Amuro…. together?! I WISH!!

Its me or Namie Amuro and Gackt are seing each other too much and to many times? i mean, almost every interview i see Namie in, its Gackt too… they sang together once and it was beautiful, Namie looked so shy under the glare of Gakuto-san!! she didn’t even looked up ’til the song was over.

And the drunk dance…. what a memorable time!! Gackt was looking extremely funny and Namie tried to hide from the stage…. the Kinki Kids (they were there too, i think they were the Kinki K’) called her and she couldn’t help but go, the boys were telling her: come on, do it!! and when they put her close to Gackt, he was looking at her and she was staring at the floor laughing!!.

Then the game show…. again Gackt and Namie were in the same place, Gackt answered a Dragon Ball question (shounen jump, i remember) and everybody screamed, Namie clapped happy and their eyes crossed for less than a second.

Now an interview about Gackt, yes just and only Gackt………………………………………………………… what???!!!! is Namie here too!!!!??? and the Kinki Kids?? (i think the Kinki Kids know something we don’t, yes they know whats going on between them) well, they started playing with the strange mosquito-burning racket, wich seem to be one of Namie’s favorite toys cuz’ she was laughing like crazy!!! well, Gackt touched it and Namie and Matsumoto (one on the Heyx3 host) kinda scaped from him, you know, just in the case that Gackt would do something to Namie, she was behind Matsumoto saying “Gackt don’t hurt me!” and laughing…. OMG that was so funny…. Gackt couldn’t stop staring at Namie and she was blushed it was soooo pretty!!

Moving on theres the interview to Namie on September this year…… and guess what! Gackt was there!!! (didn’t saw that coming huh?) Namie showed something that had a picture of a young Namie…. with her hair like a disaster (she looked pretty anyway) and she was triying to hide the picture but the hosts didn’t let her she looked behind her and she found Gackt looking at her through his Darts (Darts: Gackt self-designed sun glasses, just in case you didn’t know) she asked a question to him and left to sing Can’t sleep, Can’t eat, Im sick, and she was perfect! like the kind of Girl Gackt likes……

 I think that they would be a pretty pretty couple…. i’d like to know what you think its not that impossible, taking in count the way they see each other…. although its just a theory, my theory and it might be not true, hope is the last thing you lose…..

Utada hikaru’s new DVD!!

Be sure to get Utada United 2006 on december 20, this new DVD was recorded on the Saitama Super Arena gig and it has 21 Utada tracks to enjoy….

It also features the top selling hits Colors, Hikaru and Sakura Drops, very promising!!! I love Utada Hikaru, and this DVD its something to see over and over again, the ones that get this DVD will have a collection classical piece of great j-pop.
